Ella Stickney – Quilting, Paper Art

Ella began sewing at a very young age, working with her mother and sister at the kitchen table making dresses for holidays and special events.  She completed her first quilt at age 14 with the help of her Step-Grandmother.

The mathematical precision and artistry of quilting appealed to her sense of creativity.  Her work products have made their way around the globe, including England, Belgium, and France.

Ella attended Cazenovia College in New York to study Fashion Design and Merchandising.  While raising her children she ran a small business providing tailored alterations for local dry cleaners and shops in Concord.

In 2007 she started working with paper as a medium.  Her cards are one-of-a-kind creations focused on traditional life events and holidays often with a whimsical tone.  And custom work for weddings and other special events are a pleasure to accommodate.

She has been a member of NH Valley Artisans since 2012 and lives in Epsom with her husband Tim.  They have two adult children and enjoy the company of their three grandsons, who are the center of their universe.

Ella welcomes requests for commissioned work.

You can contact her through the shop or email her directly.
